Meredith Rutland is a junior journalism major at the University of Florida. She is the city politics writer for the Independent Florida Alligator and has interned at the Orlando Sentinel and The Miami Herald.
She is a secret nerd, although perhaps it isn’t a secret anymore. She thinks science is the coolest thing to come around since the Dark Ages — especially UF’s research.
This blog to make everyone a little bit more aware of scientific discoveries — other than whatever new gadget Apple has out. In addition to covering research, this blog has information about about science-based events that we can all appreciate — like liquid nitrogen ice cream!
